How to connect your personal bank (Open Banking)

🏦 Open Banking allows you to connect your personal bank accounts to the Wagestream app to track both your earnings and spending in 1 single place.

  • Go to the Track page, which can be found in the lower left hand corner of bottom navigation bar.
  • Tap the 'Connect to your bank accounts' button - you can connect as many bank accounts as you like.

  • Follow the flow and complete the steps on screen (you will be taken out of the app to our partner ‘Bud’ for a few screens)

  • You may have to wait for a short while before your data can be presented

  • Once connected, you can scroll through all of the accounts on the Track screen, and click through to see all of your account transactions and set low balance alerts on each account.

Benefits of connecting your personal bank include:

  • Tracking your spending in the current month and comparing it to the previous month

  • Coach suggestions based on your spending to help you save money, spend less and budget better

  • Categorisation and graphs to show how you are currently spending your money

  • The ability to link multiple accounts to view them all in 1 place

Having Trouble? 

It's possible that your bank might not be compatible with the Open Banking functionality that our Connected Accounts feature uses. However, this is an entirely optional feature, so you should still be able to use the Wagestream app even if your bank is not able to connect via Open Banking.
