We align with the scheduled payday set by your employer. You can see this expected payday at the top of the Track page in the app. This is not impacted if you Stream any of your wages in a pay period. Depending on your location (UK vs ROI) there are slightly different rules:
For employees in the UK, the Wagestream app will always align with your scheduled payday set by your employer, regardless of whether you transfer any wages in a pay period or not.
Salaries are usually processed overnight (depending on your employer) and will be in your bank account shortly afterward. The exact time will be variable however we expect salaries to be processed by 10AM GMT on your scheduled payday.
- Depending on your banking provider, your salary payment has the potential to arrive slightly earlier however, we cannot guarantee this will always be the case.
- The time your pay arrives should not affect any monthly direct debits you have set.
- Depending on your banking provider, you may be used to seeing your salary has a ‘pending’ transaction right before payday. This is because your salary used to be sent via BACs. However, Wagestream works a bit differently: we begin to process salaries via Faster Payments (not BACS) so your salary cannot be displayed early (although rest assured, you will still be paid!).
The Wagestream app will always align with your scheduled payday set by your employer, regardless of whether you transfer any wages in a pay period or not. However, because Faster Payments is not supported in the ROI, salaries will typically take between 24 to 48 hours from your scheduled payday to arrive in your account.
Please raise a ticket with the Support Team if it has been at least 48 hours since your scheduled payday and you have not received your salary in your bank account.
We hope any changes to your pay schedule experience will be deemed worthwhile in light of the great benefits the app provides: giving you access to your wages as you earn them and getting you a step closer to financial flexibility and freedom!
