How do I clear my cache?

If you're running into issues with your Wagestream app (ie. it's frozen or not loading), you may need to clear your cache.

Note: Settings may differ depending on your phone model. For more detailed guidance, contact your device manufacturer.

Android Users

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Select Apps & Notifications.
  3. Tap See all apps, choose the app, then go to Storage.
  4. Select either Clear storage or Clear cache.
    • If "Clear storage" isn't visible, tap Clear data.
    • Clear cache: This deletes temporary files, so some apps may load more slowly the next time they are used.

Alternatively, you can try these quicker steps:

  1. Press and hold the Wagestream app icon for about 2 seconds.
  2. Select App info from the pop-up menu.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Choose either CLEAR STORAGE or CLEAR CACHE.

iOS Users

Not all apps offer a clear cache option, so deleting and reinstalling the app is the best alternative:

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Go to General > Storage & iCloud Usage
  3. Choose the Wagestream app
  4. Delete the app
  5. Re-install from the App Store
